I have not (yet) read this book, but I've been reading the reviews because of two email messages I received from friends. Here's an excpert from the first one:We are so excited to tell you that L's PSA test done last week is at 2.9 down from 4 which is well within the normal range. His cholesterol is down from 221 to 172 which is also in the normal range. All other blood tests and the physical exam shows him very healthy. He is at his optimum weight down 35 lb. from this summer, he has been off his blood pressure medicine he started in June since October and it is in the normal range and he has almost completely quit snoring. The first good sleep S has had in 7 or 8 years! We are attributing these great results to the Lord's leading us to a book called "A Cancer Battle Plan," by Dave and Anne Fraum which then took us to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to go through the HealthQuarters Ministries program which Dave and Anne started to help people learn to regain their health the way God intended. We learned that if given the right conditions our body has an amazing ability to heal itself from many ailments which has been evident in Lyle and hundreds of other people. "Prostate Health in 90 days without drugs or surgery," by Larry Clapp, is another source that uses basically the same plan with a couple tweaks. "Healing Prayer" is a book that J gave us last Christmas that didn't get read until I found it behind the couch in the motorhome one day in early Oct. after L's diagnosis and boy does it apply to where we are. How did he know that we would use that book just when we needed it? God is in control of even the gifts we give at Christmas if we let Him be.Then my friends sent a follow-up note that said:I'm sorry to hear of [your] ailments. I know you have probably had a zillion suggestions but with the results we have seen with L and myself and many others with varying ailments I would encourage you to pick up Dave Frauhm's book "A Cancer Battle Plan" and consider following his program. It's [also] good for... dealing with the stress. This book deals not only with cancer but with many health situations. We believe you could possibly find some real relief. I hope these comments help. I think I'll be picking up a copy of this book soon.
I can't believe that this terrible product gets great reviews! Yes, it downloads my financial information quickly and easily. That's about the only good thing that can be said for it. It's budget offerings are atrocious... if you can find where they are and know how to use them. The few good graphs that it did have were lost in the "upgrade" from 2010 to 2011. Money's analytical tools were so much more useful to the average consumer I would never have converted to this tool had I not been "forced." I'm going to be exploring my options with other software as my frustration levels with this product only increase the more I use it.
It might be a decent overview of the material on the TEAS exam, but this book is riddled with typos, and some of the answers (for practice tests, self-checks at the end of each section), are flat out wrong. For that reason alone I would not recommend it. As far as the material, it's pretty accurate to what is on the test. I scored highly on the TEAS V but I'm not sure this book particularly helped. Just take a free online refresher on whatever subjects you need to brush up on and do the ATI practice tests instead, they're a much better use of your money in my experience.
Was like a time-line on which events were hung. No character development. Won't touch anything by this author again. Now, just finished three books on life of Eleanor of Aquitaine - now that was plot and character development. P.S. There is no accounting for taste.
I started the 30 Day Cleanse a little over a week ago, and God was I MISERABLE! For the first 5 days, I felt hungry, I had headaches and waves of nausea. I thought, if this is how it's going to be, I'm never going to last for 30 days!!! And then, on the 6th day, I turned a corner. The headaches were gone. I didn't feel constantly hungry or nauseated anymore. I actually felt good. I think my body was de-toxing those first 5 days and that's why I felt so sick!!! I was not eating healthy food before I started so I think I was in withdrawal from sugar and fat! When the cleanse day came on day 7, I actually got through it fine. You are drinking something or eating a snack like every 2 hours, so I actually felt ok! Now maybe the next cleanse day will be harder for me? I don't know. But I'm on day 9 and feeling good. I lost 7 pounds in the first week. This diet is probably not for everyone! I am getting married in less than 3 months so I wanted to do something quickly, and I was willing to suffer if the weight came off fast. I find myself thinking that after I achieve my goal weight, and my wedding is over, etc., I still might drink the shakes for breakfast, and/or a lunch once in a while, and eating healthy meals, etc.and just work on maintaining my weight. To those who are looking for a slower weight loss, with more food, this is not for you. But so far, for me, it's working well!
