I must admit that Jesus Christ Superstar, like all of Sir Andrew LLoyd Webber's early musicals, is a gem of the musical theater. This recording presents awesome orchestrations that bring the excitement of live theater into anyone's home. The downfall.... the performers. I don't know why, but all Jesus and Judas () at singing. Can't one director cast a Jesus and Judas who can hit every note that is written for them... They must be out there somewhere! I have to admit though, if you've heard the original soundtrack this cast rocks! Yet, there's still plenty of room for improvement. Also, Sir Webber needs to start getting creative. Some of the endings (particularly Everything's Alright) end with the the big final chord the same as previous musicals of his (Joseph and Dreamcoat!). All in all, this is a masterpiece of a musical that all Broadway fans must not be without! Enjoy!

I'm not that impressed with this product. I had done the Liver Cleanse first, not knowing there was a suggested "order" in which to do these cleanses, and I found that much more "cleansing." This is just bloating and gas-inducing, for me, not detoxing at all, just bloating and uncomfortable. I wouldn't get it again. Highly recommend the Liver Cleanse, though.
