For some reason, many textbooks take an interesting subject and make it boring. I felt that is what this one did. Was very informative though, and has lots of details.

I just cannot say enough about this product. I have read a lot about serrapeptase and if there is a miracle pill, then this is it. I take it for an autoimmune disease I have which is sjogrens syndrome. I no longer run low grade fever, have very few aches and pains due to the arthralgias and myalgias that occur with this condition. It really takes away inflammation. My rheumatologist now says my sjogrens syndrome is in remission! Also, I started giving it to my teenager for epididymitis. The urologist said he needed to take MEGA doses of nsaids for the inflammation. He has stomach problems, so there was no way he could do that. Serrapeptase has no side effects even with other meds and doesn't damage the liver like nsaids can. This has cured that condition for him. He's also taking it for inflammatory bowel disorder and it appears to work for that and last of all, he's taking it for phlebitis. He got this from an iv in his arm at the hospital. It has made the inflammation go down with this. So, he's pretty much cured of all his problems do to this wonderful product! We will continue to take serrapeptase indefinitely.

I gave 2 stars because hate is a strong word. Really dissapointed is the best description for the following reason. I had been very pleased with this product in every way after receiving several 5lb bottles of it, until all of a sudden I received one which was different in texture, taste and results. It seemed diluted when compared to the last bottles I had ordered. I really like the type of protein, the great taste even with water, etc. But when this last bottle came it took 2-3 scoops to even approach the flavor and consistency of 1 scoop of the last bottle. So, thinking this was a fluke I sent it back and requested a new bottle, same thing. I tried one more time and still the appearance, taste, everything seemed very diluted. I would to love to have this back at its original strength. I am a healthcare provider and people ask me for recommendations for these type of products and I also share with collegues who are health conscious (no, not all of us are...unfortunately!). So please correct this problem. In the mean time I will be using a different product. Not sure which yet.

This book contains a wealth of information and I love the ebook format so I can read on the way to work(mass transit)
