I have been using La Prairie products for about 18 months now. I think my skin can be called good quality after using Chanel products for about 30 years. But the La Prairie brought a new quality to my skin. I actually see people looking at my skin when we meet. But I have a concern now and I wonder if anyone has an answer. I note that Amazon's prices are 30% below La Prairie's. Sounds good but is it good? 30% is the usual profit on such products, so that difference is 100% profit. Cosmetic products, like all chemicals, age. If the Amazon product comes into this market after sitting somewhere for a while, could it have been purchased at a lower rate and passed onto the market at a bargain rate? If old product can be bought at a lower price, it well may performs at a fraction of the original rate. Unlikely that either of the two companies would own up to this, but companies usually have price agreements with their retailers -- but I am wondering if anybody else noticed.
I didn't like these shoes as much as I wanted to. They look and feel cheap and are not supportive at all. I bought them for a trip to San Francisco because I knew I'd be walking several miles every day and wanted something that was more stylish than gym shoes and wouldn't take up a ton of room in my luggage. These were OK. They felt thin and the Asics stripe is basically just like a sticker on the side of the fabric, so it looked cheap too. I would definitely not pay more than $30-40 for these. The sizing is consistent with Asics' athletic shoes. I wear a 10 in normal shoes (vans, converse, ballet flats) and a 10.5 in my Asics gym shoes; I got a 10.5 in these and they were great.
I have bought both Cyberpower and APC UPS' before and between both, I like this new version that Cyberpower has better than APC. The old Cyberpower UPS I had had a big blue power button that would be lit the whole time it is on, at night it would be really bright. With this new UPS the light from the power is not bright at all, it is perfect if you keep it in a bedroom. The LCD screen is great, the USB ports are very convenient. No need to have a USB adapter next to your desk with this UPS, I use it to charge my iPhone and iPad and my USB Battery backups. The 1000VA is very small compared to the standard UPSs, I was surprised how light and small it was. The 13000VA are a lot heavier and longer but this one is a great size. Great device, great battery for when the power goes out. I usually get 70-90 mins out of it with a mac hooked up to it and various USB devices to it such as Hard Drives.
I tried this product in my Birchbox in a sample size and fell in love with it. I got the regular size on Amazon and am totally satisfied. It smells amazing and it does detangle my thick curly hair. I've gotten compliments on how my hair smells after i've used this product and my hair seems healthier when i use it.
