These shoes are an excellent value and I believe they perform as well as my old Sidi Genius. It seems my feet have gotten bigger as I've aged and my old shoes became uncomfortably tight. I considered buying an new pair of Genius but choked on the cost. I figured I would try these. After riding them the entire season including a few soaking heavy rains, they still look like new. The fit is perfect and I feel totally connected to my pedals. The top ratchet closure is secure, precise and perfect for on-the-fly adjustments. The two velcro straps are placed in just the right place and their width gives the velcro a lot of contact area for firm attachment. Five Stars for these shoes.
